Took my trusty SX-70 out for a walk the other day, as it was beautiful outside, almost spring-like temperatures and blue skies.
The SX-70 has been behaving a bit strange since it spent a night outside, during a thunderstorm. Though, to be honest, I’m surprised it still works at all.
When pressing the shutter the camera would first do nothing really, and it would take a few seconds to trigger the shutter, which resulted in some lomo-eqsue looking Polaroids. Quite fond of the results really.
For the later shots I held the camera still for a while until the image popped out, so they actually picture what I wanted to snap a photo of.
Too bad about the SX-70, it’s a great little camera. I wonder if I can get it repaired somewhere, or if the transport wheels just need a drop of oil. Worth a shot I reckon.
