Once again I set out to visit Edinburgh for a conference, deliberately adding an extra day to enjoy this very beautiful city, just walking around and drinking coffee all day long. The weather was perfect, the sun was out most of the time. And when the sun is shining, Edinburgh shines. All the grey old buildings go so much better with a blue sky.

We rented a fabulous apartment for the four of us, my room right underneath the roof had it all, seagulls meeting up for an impromptu party at 5 am, the wind going through from the sea, and a great view across other houses.

I like Edinburgh, always a pleasure coming back. These are only a few shots from the trip, you can check out the whole set.

  1. Film is a mix of Fuji Pro 400H and Kodak Portra 400VC. In the full set, there’s also Fuji Pro 800Z and some Kodak Portra 400 mixed in I think.
